What makes BlockBoy unique

 What sets the BlockBoy apart is the obsessive attention to detail. The 2.8 inch display is software-fitted to perfectly fill the window of the LEGO® Game Boy™ set, providing a full and crisp image. Volume and brightness are both managed via custom buttons at the original wheel positions, and the original LEGO power switch turns the BlockBoy on and off. To ensure an authentic feel, the D-pad and A/B buttons use membrane switches, just like the original Game Boy.

by ducalex, licensed under GPLv2.

MicroSD Requirements

The BlockBoy works with a MicroSD card of up to 32 GB. For best performance, a card from a well-known brand such as SanDisk or Samsung is recommended. The card must be formatted as FAT32 to be recognized by the software. No games or MicroSD cards are included with the kit.

Installation

To install the BlockBoy kit, some original LEGO bricks are replaced or moved. The kit includes all necessary replacement bricks and custom 3D-printed parts to complete the build and fill any gaps.
